delta airlines baggage fees policy

Hello, On my recent journey with Delta Airlines, I discovered delta airlines baggage fees policy to be rather simple. I was charged $35 for my first checked bag and $45 for the second on my domestic flight, which I considered to be a bit excessive. Fortunately, my personal item and carry-on bag were not charged. I did observe that bags that are overweight or oversized come with additional fees, which can collect quickly, if you don't pack carefully. Due to the absence of upper class status or Delta credit cards in my case, I was unqualified for fee reductions. All in all, it was a satisfactory experience. However, I suggest looking at their baggage fee chart prior to your flight to prevent any unexpected charges.
